We understand the significance of every wedding and ensure our clients receive exceptional bridal hair and makeup artistry. Thank you for your submission, our staff will review your details and confirm our availability for your requested date within 2 business days. Please take a look at the following information, we hope to answer some of your bridal beauty questions.
Love is in Hair will provide a contract and invoice once your wedding date has been approved. Love is in The Hair requires a $250.00 deposit and a signed contract in order to reserve artists for your date. In high wedding season, (May - September) we require a minimum of 8 booked services on the requested wedding date. The minimum number of services is based on the season and day of event.
We offer trial sessions for your bridal Hair and Makeup needs. The trial is a great opportunity for us to get to know one another, for you to see how your hair and makeup will look on your wedding day, and it gives us a chance to explore your hair and skin. The trial session is separate from the wedding day invoice in that it is treated as a regular hair or makeup appointment, so the trial session fee is paid at the conclusion of the appointment. The trial run appointment usually lasts 2 - 2.5 hrs. Our trial sessions are held in our Truckee or Folsom studios. We highly recommend booking a trial session, however this does not secure your wedding date.
Once we receive your signed contract and deposit a timeline will be provided. If additions are made at a later date, a new invoice and timeline will be sent to you reflecting the additions. Please note: The requested services cannot be removed and will be considered final after the signed contract and deposit is collected.

HOW DO I SECURE MY WEDDING DATE AND RESERVE YOUR TEAM?
The first step is to is to check our availability. Next, we request a contract to be signed along with a $250.00 deposit before the reservation will be added to our calendar and a timeline will be composed. Once your bridal beauty services have been decided, the number of services cannot e removed and will be considered final after the signed contract and deposit are collected. In order to secure the proper staffing for your wedding, services cannot be removed. Services can be added to your wedding based upon staffing availability after an “Additional Service Request Form” is submitted for review. Final payment is due 48 ours before the contracted wedding date.
DO YOU NEGOTIATE THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT OR PRICING?
ue to the volume of weddings we contract, we do not negotiate. We have chosen to share our pricing online and believe in equal pricing in order to provide a uniform and consistent experience. By creating consistency in our pricing and terms we can focus less on administrative paperwork and more on what we do best, making each bride look and feel amazing on their wedding day.
HOW LONG DOES EACH SERVICE TAKE & HOW MANY STYLISTS WILL BE PROVIDED?
We allow on average 45 minutes per service, pending, amount of hair/length and intricacy of style for the bridal party members and 60 minutes per service for the bride. Once we have determined the total number of services contracted and your completion time, we will compose a bridal beauty timeline with the number of stylists that will be staffed. With enough notice, we can assemble a team of beauty professionals needed for your wedding day. Additionally, we charge $75 per hour before a 9:00am service start time.
WILL YOUR TEAM TRAVEL TO MY LOCATION?
Yes. To ensure a restful morning, allow us to come to you and leave the travel to us! Our services include all local travel up to 30 minutes to and from our Truckee studio. After 30 minutes, we apply our hourly rate of $100.00 an hour. This is determined by the amount of time we need to be away from our studio to travel to your location.
DO WE REQUIRE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF SERVICES?
es. We have a minimum booking commitment. The minimum number of services booked is based on season and day of event. Please inquire about our minimum commitments by visiting the “Contact” tab and letting us know the details of your wedding. Our bridal beauty coordinator will be happy to collaborate with you.
DO WE HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
If for some reason you need to cancel your reservation with Love is in the Hair, you will forfeit your deposit.
DO WE REQUIRE A TRIAL SESSION?
A trial session is not required, but is highly recommended. The trial session does not secure your wedding date. Our trial sessions are held at our studios in Truckee or Folsom, CA. The trial session is a great opportunity for us to get to know one another, for you to see how your hair and makeup will look on your wedding day, and it gives us a chance to look over your skin and hair. The trial session is separate from your wedding day invoice, in that it is treated as a regular appointment. The trial session is paid at the conclusion of the appointment. The trial session usually lasts 22.5 hrs.
WHAT BRANDS DO WE KEEP IN OUR KITS?
We utilize a variety of brands that we have found to be exceptional and of the highest quality. Our Makeup kits include, Glo Minerals, Chanel, Mac, Urban Decay, Benefit, BareMinerals, Anastasia of Beverly Hills, Bobby Brown and Stila. Our "GoTo" hair styling products include Moroccan Oil, Bumble and Bumble, Kevin Murphy, Kerastase and Eufora. We are always exploring new brands and techniques for each brides distinct style.
